2012 Natchez Trace Fall Foliage Photo Contest

How Does It Work?

- Where & When: For tips on where and when fall colors will be at their peak on the Natchez Trace Parkway, click here.
- Photo of: Photo must show either a fall foliage scene on the Natchez Trace Parkway or a fall foliage view taken from the Natchez Trace Parkway. Special consideration will be given to pictures that also include "your ride" (your car, bicycle, motorcycle, RV, pickup truck, horse, jeep, convertible...) in the foreground of the picture and Natchez Trace fall foliage in the background. Half of the winning photos will be chosen from those with "your ride" in the photo and the other half only showing Natchez Trace fall foliage.
- Take Pictures: Pictures must be taken from October 5, 2012 thru November 17, 2012.
- Enter the Contest: Deadline to enter pictures is November 18, 2012.
- Winning Photos: 12 photos (6 with "your ride" in the photo) will be declared as the winning photos by a panel of judges. The 12 winning photos will be featured in a 2013 Natchez Trace photo calendar!
- Prizes: Natchez Trace B&B Reservation Service gift certificates worth $1500 will be divided among the 12 winning photos. Each of the winning photos will receive a $100 gift certificate. Each of the 12 photographers will also receive five 2013 Natchez Trace photo calendars.
- Grand Prizes: Public voting will then determine which of the 12 photos win 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. 1st place photo will win an additional $150 certificate, 2nd place photo will win an additional $100 certificate and the 3rd place photo will win an additional $50 certificate.
- Submit Your Photo(s): Contest entry period ended November 18, 2012.
Each photographer may submit up to four photos. - Winning Photos: winning photos will be announced November 21, 2012.
