May 12, 1863 - Descent on Linden, razing of court house and dispersal of Confederate conscripts

Re-enactment on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the original, historic site.

During the day soldiers will be recreating living history and will gladly share with everyone what life was like during the Civil War. There will also be genealogy assistance available, and the Sons of the Confederate Veterans will have a tent if you are interested in becoming involved in re-enacting.
