Capture and Burning of the Courthouse and the Battle of Beardstown

Event Description:

The Civil War will once again come alive in downtown Linden, Tennessee for the 6th Annual Re-enactment of the Burning of the Perry County Courthouse at the original site where the actual event occurred on May 12th, 1863.

The only known reenactment of it's kind, with confederate forces firing from the courthouse windows on the historic battle site.  *****Battle open to public*****

No registration fee for reenactors, however we ask you to register in advance to assist us in providing a bountiful dinner for all reenactors.

School Day on Friday, catfish dinner for reenactors, and Grand Military Ball on Saturday Night.
