Event Description:

Traditional Native American dancing, foods, and crafts will be found in abundance at the 2012 Natchez Powwow March 24-25, at the Grand Village of the Natchez Indians.

This will be the twenty-fourth time the Grand Village has hosted the annual event. "This Powwow is significant because of its location at an actual mound site," said Jim Barnett, director of the Grand Village. "Natchez Indians lived here and danced here and that long history makes this all the more special."
