Buffalo Spirit Ranch B&B - Utica, MS

Buffalo Spirit Ranch Bed and Breakfast is located adjacent to the Natchez Trace Parkway and the Natchez Trace National Scenic Horse and Hiking Trail, and only .5 mile by pavement from the Trace via the exit ramp and Fisher Ferry Road.

Buffalo Spirit Ranch is a spacious western red cedar home surrounded by spectacular woodlands, wildlife, creeks, and hills with plenty of hiking trails.

The B&B, located near Utica, Mississippi and halfway between Port Gibson and Raymond, can accommodate a traveling party of one to seven people. The B&B's close proximity to the Trace makes it especially popular with bicyclists.

The 6000 square foot lodge was constructed in the 1970s by the innkeeper and his father from yellow poplar, black walnut, long leaf pine, loblolly pine, black cherry, sweet gum, and eastern red cedar trees selectively cut from the 110 acre estate. Also used in the construction were baldcypress and sassafras, as well as western red cedar which came from Mt. St. Helens after the volcanic eruption. Stone from Mountain View, Arkansas adorns the stunning 8 foot wide chimney, which also features petrified wood that was unearthed at a construction site in Texas.

In addition, the B&B features an Art & Gift Gallery filled with stunning fine art photography, handcrafted leather goods, and fine wood pieces, all created by the innkeepers and other local artisans. Buffalo Spirit Ranch also offers accommodations for horses.
