Our family of 5 adults travel to this part of MS for our annual Family Reunion. What a delightful treat to have discovered the Belmont Hotel! The décor is lovely and creative. Rooms are each unique and inviting. History is everywhere, hospitality is abundant, and tranquil quiet soothes the soul at the end of an active day. A full community kitchen at the end of the broad upstairs hall kept our cooler contents safe overnight. Ice machine, microwave, coffee makers, etc., are found just off the Dining Room for quick morning preparations. Room amenities include everything you'd find at a Hilton, with loads more charm. And the entire hotel was so clean! Hardwood floors in each room are such a relief for those like me who won't walk barefooted on hotel carpet; and the bedlinens were delightfully comforting. This is literally the first hotel I've ever stayed in that didn't set off my outsized germophobia! If you prefer preserved treasures to shiny new edifices, but still insist on convenience and comfort (WiFi and A/C performed flawlessly!), you'll adore this hotel! See you next year!

Note: all of the guest rooms at Belmont Hotel were refurbished and redecorated in early 2019.

I loved our stay here. The place in beautiful. I love the little town. We ate at a pizza place that was a quick walk from our room. I would love to just stay here a week and explore the areas around the Trace. Ron was very nice. Check in was super easy.

This was our longest day biking the Trace, close to 60 miles. The back roads off the Trace were long but beautiful. We were grateful to arrive at the Belmont, greeted by Ron. He pointed out the miracle of the Oaxacan restaurant across the street, another welcome sight. Ron helped us in the morning fix Eli's flat tire.

I enjoyed this historic hotel in Belmont. The rooms were spacious with high ceilings and decorated with period furnishings. I felt like I was back in the 20's. Our host had cold soda and water waiting for me as I biked in off the Trace. I was pleased with the small town hospitality. The Mexican restaurant across the street was a treat.

I love the uniqueness of the Belmont Hotel! Ron and his family have done a terrific job of renovating the old hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean.A buffet style breakfast with lots of choices is offered. Ron is a super nice guy and drove my dad and I to the Trace so we would not have to bicycle the extra miles and could beat the rain! I cannot say enough of how nice of a guy Ron is.

Very nice, old Hotel. A little off the beaten path for bicycling, but easy to get to from the Trace and then get back to the Trace the next day. The room was very comfortable and they had an extensive continental breakfast the next morning to fuel us for riding. We were only there one night, but thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We arrived at the Belmont Hotel as two very tired bikers and Ron kindly saw us to our room and offered us water right away. We stayed in Room #1 - very spacious, room to hold our bikes, comfortable bed, high ceilings, perhaps not quite the decor one would expect at a B&B but very serviceable. Breakfast was buffet-style and there was LOTS to choose from. We ate dinner at the Mexican restaurant across the street; tasty. The weather the next day was rainy and very windy. Ron offered to drive us to Tupelo so we could keep up with our itinerary. We learned a lot from him about the pulp tree lots and logging. Such a kind man!

We enjoyed our stay at the Belmont, after a crazy hilly bike ride into town from the Natchez Trace Parkway. We found a nearby restaurant and laundromat that were satisfactory if not remarkable. The rooms at Belmont were great--he had no trouble accomodating all ten of us!

The Belmont was a quaint hotel with good accommodations. We very much enjoyed our stay! Thank you.
