A Bed in the Barn - Florence, Alabama
A Bed in the Barn is located 2 miles east of the Natchez Trace Parkway on the historic Trail of Tears route between Florence and Waterloo, Alabama. The comfy apartment is in the barn next door to the indoor horse riding arena at Broken Arrow Farm.
The guest house offers travelers a bedroom with a queen size bed, kitchenette, bathroom with shower and a living area that has a full size pull-out couch in a quiet, rural setting. The owners live next door in a separate house.
A self-serve continental breakfast of muffins, Danish, boxed donuts, coffee and orange juice is provided. With the kitchen, you may bring additional food for breakfast and dinner if you wish. Down the street, Rhodesville Cafe serves lunch and dinner Monday thru Saturday.
The apartment is attached to the barn with two doors, one which opens to the inside arena and the other to a small porch. Be sure to visit Rooster (the horse) the master of Broken Arrow Farm. If you want to ride one of the horses, the owners can make that happen for an additional fee.
