Southern Grace Cottage is located less than half a mile from the parkway.
With a kitchenette and spacious living area and being so close to the parkway, Southern Grace Cottage is an ideal choice as a "home base". You could drive to Southern Grace Cottage and bike 2 or more days (one day "up" the Trace "out and back" - one day "down" the Trace "out and back" - maybe, 1 or more days: drive to another section of the parkway, park your vehicle, bike for the day "out and back" to your vehicle and drive back to Southern Grace Cottage).

- Bicycle Storage: Bicycles can be stored overnight on the covered Front Porch.
- Food: Individually wrapped breakfast items and fruit are provided. You may bring food as well (a market is two blocks away) - the cottage's kitchen doesn't have a stove but it has a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. The Council House Restaurant in the French Camp Historic Village half a mile away is open for dinner Tuesday thru Saturday. Los Gringos Coffeehouse nearby has coffees, beverages and breakfast sandwiches.
- Laundry: There is a laundromat within walking distance.
