Guests will enjoy access to nine of the area's most beautiful gardens as well as opportunities to hear from local gardeners about how they are reviving their gardens after last winter's severe temperature drop.
The James K. Polk Home & Museum will also host plein air painters, an art sale, and a Maury County Master Gardeners plant sale.
Gardens will be open to ticketed guests for self-guided walk throughs from 10-4pm on Friday, June 2nd and Saturday, June 3rd. A full schedule of presenters will be available soon!
Proceeds from the Gardens of Columbia Tour will support the continued preservation and operation of the President James K. Polk Home & Museum. Tickets can be purchased online at Eventbrite or in person at the Polk Home.
The James K. Polk Home is the only surviving residence of the 11th President, outside the White House. James K. Polk was a U.S. Congressman, Speaker of the House, Governor of Tennessee, and the first man to be elected President before his 50th birthday.
