Nature Events held at Timberland Park located on the Natchez Trace Parkway at milepost 437.2 (just south of Hwy 96 and the Double Arch Bridge).

May Programs:

  • Friday, May 8: Feeding the Birds 4:30pm-5:15pm
    Come out to the park and learn about how and what to feed birds in your yard. While here, participants will get to build their own improvised bird feeders. Register for activity #16734
  • Monday, May 25: Guided Hike 10:00am-11:00am
    Join park staff as we take a 1 mile hike. We will discuss the plants and animals you find in the park. Register for activity #16736
  • Trees of Timberland Park: Monday, May 25 11:30am-12:30pm
    Join us for a meet and greet with some of our resident trees. You will learn their names as well as some of their defining characteristics. The walk will be around three quarters of a mile in length. Register for activity #16748
  • Monday, May 25: Ten Essentials of Survival 2:00pm-3:00pm
    Visit us at Timberland to learn what we consider to be the ten most important items to take with you on any foray into the wilderness. Registration #16758
