Nashville Hiking Meetup and REI Brentwood have together adopted a segment of the Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail: the Horse Loop West section running from Garrison Creek south to the War of 1812 monument.

Join them for a volunteer trail maintenance morning to help clear brush, cut branches, and generally make the trail more "hikeable." Kids 12 and up with parent or guardian are welcomed to join us. We can also sign documentation for any required community service hours you have.

Certified National Parks Service Trail Stewards (and NHM hosts) Michael Mauritz and Art Craven will be our leaders for the morning. Give them a big hand for completing stewardship training!
