Each guest suite is decorated with vintage furniture, has comfortable beds and have been updated with modern conveniences such as steaming hot baths/showers in the private bathrooms.

The Dogwood Suite

The Dogwood Suite reflects the lacey leaves and floral beauty of the Tennessee dogwoods that bloom each spring. This beautifully decorated Victorian room, on the main level just off the grand entrance hall boasts period wallpaper and an Eastlake style Victorian fireplace. The room is furnished with an ornate bronze Queen sized bed, large Victorian Secretary and comfortable Victorian parlor chair. Adjoining is a bath with original marble vanity, tub/shower and spacious closets.

The Dogwood Suite
The Tulip Poplar Suite
Main Level - 1 Queen Sized Bed
The Tulip Poplar Suite, named after the Tennessee state tree is an elegant coral colored room on the main level with fireplace that is conveniently located just off the formal parlor and is furnished with a beautiful Queen sized antique Mallard Bed. A Victorian Secretary, period tables and seating complete the room. Attached is a closet and bath of green and black tile from the 1920s and is equipped with the original tub and commode (no shower).

Main Level - 1 King Sized Bed
The Mulberry Suite is named after yet another tree indigenous to Tennessee and its deep - rich colored berries. This suite is nestled in a secluded area of the main level. This suite has a fireplace and is furnished with an iron King sized bed. Other period furnishings complete this spacious suite including tables and a large sitting area. The attached spacious bathroom includes a roll-in shower.

Second Floor - 1 King Sized Bed
The Magnolia Suite is named after the magnificent Magnolia trees on the property and found throughout Middle Tennessee. Their bold blossoms and lustrous leaves embody the elegant grandeur of this master suite. This second floor suite starts in your very own parlor complete with seating around a grand fireplace surrounded by other antiques and collectibles. To the right of the parlor is the original spacious master bedroom with fireplace and a King sized bed nestled into the angular windows of the front facade providing natural light from three angles. This suite is filled with Victorian furnishings covered in Italian silk brocade. To the left of the parlor is the bathroom for this suite complete with crystal chandelier, tub/shower and built-in dressing table.

The Scarlet Oak Suite
Second Floor - 1 King Sized Bed
The Scarlet Oak Suite, rich in color, is named after the mighty red oak trees found throughout Tennessee. This spacious suite, located on the second level, boasts an oversized King sized headboard and bed arranged to admire the grand fireplace in the room. A large armoire, period tables and seating complete this grand suite. The attached bathroom has a large claw-foot tub from the 1920s complete with shower and original built-in closets in the bathroom.

The Hawthorne Suite
Main Floor - 1 Queen Sized Bed
The Hawthorn Room is in honor of the formal English gardens and flowering trees found on the estate during the 1900's, when the home was a private residence. This room was an addition built as the sun room. The original black and white Italian marble floors remain today. The Hawthorn is furnished with a Queen sized bed and antique furnishings. The adjoining bath with clawfoot tub and shower completes this en suite.

The Birch Room
Second Floor - 1 Full Sized Bed
The Birch Room is a beautifully decorated room just at the top of the grand staircase. An antique Full sized bed fits perfectly in the room. It is next to the Magnolia Suite and is available as an add-on to that suite. It is ideal for families or close friends who don't mind sharing a parlor and bath.

Second Floor - 1 Queen Sized Bed
The Hickory Room is named after the native resilient Hickory trees found in this region. This room is quietly nestled beyond the bathroom of the Scarlet Oak Suite. This sunken bedroom (originally a lady's maid room) is the most secluded and quiet room in the Inn. This bedroom, with fireplace, contains a Queen sized bed along with other period furnishings and its own separate sink area. This room is an additional option of the Scarlet Oak Suite, for families or traveling companions, as it shares one common bathroom between the two rooms.
