Wardo's Poboys, located in downtown Natchez, serves poboys "dressed" with mayo (spicy or regular), lettuce, tomato and pickles. Served with Zapps potato chips OR substitute cole slaw or potato salad.
Wardo's Poboys was created in honor of Alan Ward Graning, III, fondly known by family and friends as WARDO!
On June 8, 2019, Wardo passed away unexpectantly. His remaining siblings and loved ones wanted to honor his memory in a special way. In 2022, Ward's family decided to combine the need for a sandwich shop in downtown Natchez with the desire to pay tribute to Ward's love of gathering with good friends in a comfortable space for good times, good food, and good conversation--and, of course, Alabama football! Through blood, sweat, tears and countless hours of hard work, Wardo's was born.
