Cycle of Life Adventures

Cycle of Life Adventures has been leading fully supported, all-inclusive bicycle trips on the Natchez Trace Parkway since 2012.

• We do the full length of the Trace (442 miles), five times in the Spring and four times in the Fall.
• Group size is limited to 12 guests.
• We visit the best available accommodations and restaurants. Merriwether's Retreat B&B, Hampton Inns in Bellevue, TN, and Florence, AL, French Camp B&B, fine dining in Ridgeland, MS and Isabella B&B and Collina Plantation Inn both in Port Gibson, MS.

Biking the Natchez Trace is a cyclists’ dream come true. It is truly the best bicycle riding surface in the US!

• The roads are in fabulous condition and only the northern end has any hills to speak of. There are no commercial vehicles, so no buses or trucks.
• The scenery is natural, so there are no billboards, stop signs or stop lights. Distances are modest and although there are a few days where the mileage may seem overwhelming, the support van is always there to provide a lift.
• The road is well marked with 442 roadside mileage markers making it almost impossible to get lost.
• E-bike Friendly, We accept tandems and recumbent bikes.

A great deal of history and cultural sights to see along the way as your travels take you through 3 states. Side trips may include:

• Tupelo, site of Elvis’ birthplace and purchase of his first guitar.
• Wichahpi Commemorative Stone Wall
• Florence, AL home of Muscle Shoals recording studios in the 70’s.
• French Camp Academy
• Vicksburg, MS National Military Park
• Windsor Ruins near, Port Gibson, and downtown Natchez, MS.

We provide:

• All meals and snacks on the road.
• All lodging.
• Cocktail social hour on first evening.
• 2 Experienced guides with a mechanic available.
• Ride with GPS maps and/or written cue sheets.
• Park entry fees.
• Airport shuttles to and from airports in Jackson, MS and/or Nashville, TN.
