American Cuisine with a Southern Accent
City Hardware was an idea born in the mind of Rick Elliott when he purchased the building next door to his flagship restaurant Ricatoni’s in Historic Downtown Florence. Rick wanted it to be different, unique and fun.
After trips to California, Dallas, New Orleans, Nashville, Boston and Oxford, Mississippi his idea for a new restaurant began to take shape. Rick opened the doors to City Hardware in 2012. People asked what type of restaurant City Hardware was, Rick’s answer became “it’s emerging American with a Southern accent that serves Sushi”.
