Highland Rim Trail - Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail
The Highland Rim Trail is the northernmost section of the Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail paralleling the parkway for about 20 miles from milepost 408 to 427.6 in Tennessee. This trail is for both hikers and horseback riders.
Parts of the trail actually follow the path of the original Old Trace.
There are several access points to the trail that you can see on the map below. Three have parking for horse trailers and a staging area (water for horses, hitching posts). For more information about each one (north to south), click on these links:
