After a long day cycling on the Natchez Trace Pkwy, staying here was really appreciated. Located on a quiet side street, Laura has the guesthouse beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The breakfast casserole was delicious. Overall I can highly recommend.

We arrived by bicycle. We stayed in the front ground floor room; Voorhies Room. It was perfect! We were able to sit on the front porch and watch as the world drove by. High Forest is in a cute neighborhood; one block from the main downtown. Although the road out front can be quite busy; don't fret, the vehicles/trucks pretty much stop after 5pm. We liked that our room had everything to make for a great stay. Laura provided lovely after-ride snacks; muffins, trail mix and the room had a complete self serve "convenience" area (mini-frig; kettle, coffee maker) for preparing our breakfast. The room was immaculate and had shampoo, body soap, toothbrush & toothpaste. Making our reservations with Laura was a breeze. We never met Laura as she had our credit card on reserve and notified us prior to our arrival with the door code for access. We are very low maintenance and were quite happy with Laura's arrangement.
