Step inside this beautifully upgraded suite and fall in love with its vaulted ceilings and rich natural light. Suite amenities include a queen sized bed, dining area, a private bathroom with a shower and bidet, as well as a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, and full access to the spacious porch.
Private entrance through the front door (smart lock on the door) and free street parking in front of High Forest Guesthouse.
$135 + tax for one or two people.
A double lock door separates The Voorhies Suite from Augusta's Abode.
For guests wanting to rent both suites the door can be unlocked creating a whole house rental. Rental rate for both suites is $350 + tax per night for up to four people. Add $20 for each additional person. No extra charge for children age 5 or less.

The Voorhies Suite is named for Luther Voorhies, who owned the town's hardware store and funeral parlor during the 1920s. During that era, Mr. Voorhies also sold a new machine made by Ford known as the "automobile" as an outgrowth of farm machinery. While building his business during this prosperous time, he built the first Hohenwald Filling Station which was located on Main St. and Park and built this beautiful bungalow home, High Forest Guesthouse.
