High Forest Guesthouse - Hohenwald, Tennessee
Located in historic downtown Hohenwald, Tennessee, High Forest Guesthouse offers travelers two beautifully appointed suites.
High Forest Guesthouse was built in the 1920s by one of Hohenwald's early merchants - Luther Voorhies. The two-story home is divided into two suites which can be rented separately or together for a large group. Both suites have recently been renovated and are appointed with a variety of modern and comfortable amenities. Within four blocks of the vacation rental are several restaurants and coffee shops, Lewis County Museum of Natural History, Elephant Discovery Center, restored Train Depot and several shops.
The Voorhies Suite is a one bedroom (queen bed), one bathroom suite on the ground floor with a private entrance from the large, covered front porch.
Augusta's Abode is a three bedroom (two king beds and one queen bed), two and a half bathroom suite. The Master Bedroom, living room, kitchen, dining area, two bathrooms and laundry room are all on the ground floor with a private entrance. Upstairs, there are two additional bedrooms (one with a large sitting area) and a half bathroom. The fenced-in back yard with sitting area is private to Augusta's Abode.
